Veronica Wakley

Class of 1992

Veronica was inducted into the Hall of Fame for her accomplishments in girls basketball. Veronica played five years of varsity basketball, which included being a member of the Sectional runner-up team in 1989. In addition to her basketball accomplishments, Veronica played two years of varsity softball.

Veronica set a school record by scoring 1,437 career points as a member of the "lady bulldogs" basketball team.

Veronica was All league (4 years), All Section (3 years) and a Poughkeepsie Journal All Star (2 years). She was the team's Most Valuable Player for three consecutive years. Veronica also was featured on the Madison Square Garden's Pepsi Sports Spotlight.
