As we begin the 2002-2003 school year,
our theme is "Everyday is Our Future - Let's Shape the Future … One Child at a Time."

The success we enjoy in the Beacon City School District is due, in great measure, to the time that our teachers and staff invest in working with children and their parents to ensure an enriching learning experience. As we continue to grow as a school district, we strive to maintain a personal attachment to our students. We are delighted to partner with our parents and our community to meet the needs of individual students, which helps shape the future for us all.

With strong support from parents and the confidence of the Beacon community, we are moving to expand our superior instructional program and to provide our talented, dedicated teaching and support staff the tools needed to equip our children to prepare for their future and to reach their full potential in school and beyond. We continue to focus on each child in our classrooms and provide a climate for success in every one of our schools. Regular attendance is a priority and students are expected to follow clearly stated rules for behavior at school. Our school buildings are well-equipped and maintained to provide a safe environment for teaching and learning. The Beacon City School District is award-winning in its commitment to technology and its role in our students' future.

Working in partnership with parents and members of our community, we will continue to challenge our students, and prepare them to be productive and successful in the future. I look forward to assuring a positive and rewarding school experience for our students.
